First time visiting Aunty Betty’s Gin bar. The atmosphere is very cool and you really have to look for this place as it’s a bit hidden like a speak-easy. The wife enjoyed the Manhattan Roulette while I stuck with rye whiskey. Delicious!

Absolutely incredible cocktails, staff, and vibes. The Phoenix Down gave me life but honestly the best sign of a good cocktail menu is when it's hard to decide. If you're a cocktail fan or just want an absolutely solid place to have a comfortable drink with friends, Aunty Betty's is a MUST.

1st time visiting Raleigh and stumbled across this gem! Ray is a master craftsman! I simply gave him a little info on what I typically sip on and he curated some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The vibe, the decor, the mural, the music altogether created an awesome experience. We shall return!

I've had this place on my list and when we had guests come in town, especially one who loves gin, this was the perfect time to try it out! As you walk in, it's a cute little place, there were a few seats taken already, we were able to get seated at the bar even with the four of us, although it was hard to talk to each other, sitting next to one another. We liked watching the bartenders do their thing at the bar and they were knowledgeable about all kinds of drinks. While our time there was short as we had dinner reservations, we had a good night. This is definitely a place we'd want to come back to. (See pictures in the Photos section)

We loved Aunty's Betty's Gin and Absinthe bar! This hidden establishment within the Morgan Street Food Hall beat out our visit to The green light speakeasy. The decor had a whole green and leafy modern vibe but with vintage touches. The staff was friendly and fun ( not stuffy or snooty) and the cocktail menu was so unique and playful! We stopped in quick after lunch just to check it out, but we enjoyed it so much, we went back before dinner. Don't miss this stop if you're in Raleigh!

Tucked behind the bustle of of the Morgan Street Food Hall lies a not-so-secret secret: a whimsical den of gin, absinthe, and mischief. Step through the unassuming door near the buildings corner and find yourself in a moody little lair where botanicals bloom in every glass and green fairies are always welcome. Part apothecary, part speakeasy, all vibes — this tucked-away tipple temple is your reward for being curious. Blink and you’ll miss it — sneeze and you’ll lose your seat. This cozy little cocktail cave fills up faster than you can say “Negroni, please.” With just enough room for a handful of lucky souls, it’s part bar, part social experiment. Come early, come curious, and be prepared to elbow your way into the best seat you’ll never want to give up. If you’re in a rush, maybe try...literally anywhere else. Their cocktails take time — because They're busy muddling together timeless classics, like a good Old Fashioned. But hey, perfection can’t be microwaved. Sip slowly, wait longer, and remember: you can’t rush greatness...or them. Cheers!

We had the best time at Aunty Betty’s! My friends and I were visiting Raleigh on a girls trip and stopped in. Ray and Steph were so fun, knowledgeable and talented! I told my server I had never tried absinthe and did not like the taste of Gin and they whipped up one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had using both! We had so much fun here. Seating is comfortable and the atmosphere was vibrant. Ray was happy to educate us on the history of absinthe and how it is made today. 10/10 experience, highly recommend.
